Holy Rosary II offers emergency overnight shelter for single women.
Single women can line up in front of Samaritan House between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. under the overhang in the front of the building. If there are more than 100 women lined up, the process for admittance will be to hand out YES/NO cards. Everyone with a YES card will be admitted to the shelter. Women will be provided dinner when they arrive and breakfast before they leave at 7 a.m. each morning. Storage units are also available.
Women accessing the overnight shelter will be given preference for openings at Samaritan House, which are randomly assigned by lottery at 8 p.m. Women can call before 8 p.m. to be placed on the list and then they will need to call back to find out if they've been awarded a space.
Service animals and emotional support animals accepted with current vaccinations and a signed contract.
Single women aged 21 and older. Transgender individuals must have a state-issued photo ID that matches their self-identified gender.
