Description of Service
Provides emergency overnight shelter, including a clean and sober mat area, for single men over age 18. Offers the following services to persons staying at the shelter:
- Dinner and breakfast
- Kennels for dogs based on availability
- Bed rental for working individuals (bed rental fees)
- Search and Rescue Line for transportation to shelter
- Stepping Up Program (case management, advocacy, and life skills classes)
- Staging and transportation to the Peoria overflow shelter for men
City of Denver
Line up no earlier than 3:30 p.m. in the courtyard near the Platte River. Individuals will be allowed to enter until 6 p.m. as space is available. If an individual can prove they were working, they will be allowed to enter between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Bed rentals are accepted on Mondays and Thursdays at 2 p.m., based on availability.
Walk in for transportation to the Peoria overflow shelter starting at 6:00 p.m. Return buses the next morning will drop off at Denver Rescue Mission's Lawrence Street Community Center.
Ramp entrance available at the back of the building.
Stout Street mobile van is available weekly onsite.
ABC Dental is available weekly onsite.
There is a sign-up to use shower or laundry services.
Single adult males, ages 18 and older. Must obtain a TB card within two weeks of entry. LBGTQ individuals are welcome.
