Offers reliable shelter each night for women and transgender individuals ages 18 and older who:
- Are actively engaged in case management through a referring agency
- Will continue to receive case management services from that agency while staying at The Delores Project
The length of stay is variable. Clients are expected to be making active progress towards goals for stable long-term housing.
Limited, call for specific information
A referral must be made by a case worker on the resident's behalf. Those with referrals without immediate placement will be put on a waitlist.
Referring agencies must provide ongoing case management to clients focused on housing at least twice monthly and the case manager must attend an information session before the client can be admitted into the program.
Individuals are expected to participate in daily housekeeping, unless a physician's letter describes physical limitations needing accommodation.
Service animals are accepted. Owners will be asked what service the animal provides and be asked to sign a contract about the animal's behavior.
Single women and transgender individuals ages 18 and older; gender is determined by self-identification.
