Description of Service
RMSER Migrant Head Start:
The Migrant Head Start program is federally funded to serves 180 migrant children (ages 6 weeks old to 5 years old) and their families in Adams, Larimer, Mesa, Montrose, and Weld Counties who come every year from May to October to work in agriculture. The program serves families whose income meets federal poverty guidelines and who migrate for the purpose of engaging in agricultural employment.
Urgent Services Provided
The Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Program provides child care and a comprehensive services of education, health, nutrition, transportation, mental health, disabilities, and family engagement for children ages birth to five years old of farm worker families.
