Description of ServiceThe Colorado Respite Coalition is an allied network of families and community partners working to strengthen and support family caregivers of individuals with special health care needs and chronic conditions. The CRC strives to expand respite awareness and access throughout Colorado for all ages and across the disability spectrum. Services and programs include:
- Online respite locator
- Assisting individuals searching for respite
- Advocacy
- Financial assistance to families and agencies
- Regional coalitions
- Training and education
- Information and referrals to community resources

Respite is a short break for a family caregiver that is caring for a loved one with a disability, special healthcare need or chronic condition. Respite ensures safe, quality care while the caregiver is able to relax, refresh and rejuvenate. Learn more on our website below.
