ALIGHT (Alliance to Lead Impact in Global Human Trafficking)
Data Provided By
Mile High United Way - MHUW
Description of Program
Connects sex and labor trafficking survivors to attorneys offering free legal services. ALIGHT does not provide direct legal or other services.
Limited, call for specific information
Call ALIGHT Intake Advocate for screening at (720) 608-6039.
When a survivor calls the Intake Advocate, she will ask the survivor questions about the survivor's trafficking experience and legal needs to determine whether ALIGHT's services are an appropriate fit. The survivor can determine how much they are willing to share to help the Intake Advocate make that determination. If the Intake Advocate determines fit, she will post the survivor's request for legal services. When an attorney responds indicating interest to assist, the Intake Advocate will call and/or email the survivor with the attorney's contact information and share tips about reaching out to the attorney. ALIGHT cannot guarantee a match with a pro bono attorney, but the program has a high rate of attorney response.
