General Information
Description of ProgramProvides the following for pregnant women, new mothers, and any family with infants and children younger than age five who cannot afford an adequate diet or who have a condition which shows a need for better nutrition:
- Free nutritious groceries
- Personal and online nutrition counseling
- Breastfeeding support (e.g., information, classes, support groups, peer counselors, loaned breast pumps to those exclusively breastfeeding)
- Referrals for assistance with medical, dental, housing needs

WIC families receive a debit-type card to purchase milk, cheese, eggs, cereal, juice, vegetables, peanut butter, beans and infant formula in most grocery stores.

Intake RequirementsAt the first appointment, the applicant and all family members applying for WIC need to be present and will need to provide:
- proof of identification
- address
- household income

EligibilityPregnant Women, infants, and children living in Adams, Arapahoe, or Douglas County. To be eligible for WIC, applicants must have income at or below an income level or health standard set by the State agency.
Hours of OperationMonday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.; Friday, 7 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
