Intake RequirementsApplicants must provide the following documentation:
- Proof of legal residency within the US
- Photo IDs, birth certificates, and social security cards for all members of the household
Client Information
EligibilitySingle parents must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Not have a criminal background of violent crimes or crimes against minors
- Not have active, outstanding warrants for arrest or any failures to appear for court
- Have custody of one or more of their children at least 51% of the time
- Be motivated to set and achieve goals
- Be willing to commit to work and/or school at least part-time
- Attend three life-skills classes per month, meet with a Family Advocate weekly, and participate in the community through completion of daily chores
- Give two hours of volunteer time back to the community
- Comply with mandatory weekly or monthly monitored UAs
- Not have male children over the age of 12
- Have an income which is 30% or less of area median income
