General Information
Description of ProgramHouse of Hope is a 90-day, 30-bed homeless shelter for women and their children (ages 17 and younger). Families work to complete the goals outlined in their plans, which often include the following:
- Applying for housing programs
- Getting children into school and daycare
- Obtaining employment
- Receiving a GED
- Attending a job training program

Also offers on-site individual therapy and life-skills workshops.

Intake ProcedureCall to complete a screening interview and to schedule a visit of the shelter. Leave a voicemail if after phone hours. Once approved, families will be put on the wait list.

EligibilitySingle women with children ages 17 and younger. Families receiving public benefits in Arapahoe County are given priority. Women with disabilities are encouraged to apply (one ADA accessible room).
