Intake RequirementsTo relinquish an animal or bring in a stray animal, the animal must be located in one of the following areas:
- Unincorporated Adams County
- Thornton,
- Northglenn,
- Commerce City
- Federal Heights
- Bennett.

Individuals interested in adoption may be from anywhere in the United States.
