Urgent Services ProvidedOnline:
Northeastern offers online courses on just about every topic you can imagine - from Creating Web Pages to Accounting Fundamentals, Statistics to Economics, Biology to Music Appreciation, and much, much more. We also offer a variety of course formats, from fully online to hybrid, or blended. The hybrid courses allow you to combine the best of online and classroom learning, offering the convenience of distance learning with the opportunity to meet face to face with your instructor and classmates.
The Honors program is designed to enable you to develop to your fullest potential while you're a student on our campus. You're offered opportunities for extended academic and personal growth through special courses emphasizing critical thinking, verbal expression and creative problem-solving. You'll be inspired and challenged to move beyond the basic by instructors and staff who value your higher academic performance. Leadership development and community building experiences for highly motivated students are also benefits you may enjoy.

Jump Start:
Accelerate through a pre-college course in 10 days! Jump Start NJC is an opportunity for incoming NJC students to arrive to campus early and accelerate through an entire pre-college level course—like CCR 92, MAT 50 or MAT 55—saving them from taking these 5-credits. Additionally, Jump Start NJC students settle into their resident hall early, make connections with other students, gain academic success skills, learn campus and community resources, and get a great head start on the academic year.

Concurrent Enrollment Courses:
Did you know that Northeastern has worked with area high schools since 1988 to help high school students get a head start on earning college credit? Are you motivated, responsible, and looking for a challenge? Do you want to knock out college credits by taking college classes for both high school and college credit? If so, you are a great candidate for Concurrent Enrollment.

Basic Education:
Interested in getting your GED? Need help with English as a second language? Need help with workplace and college readiness.
