General Information
Description of ProgramProvides free clothing to students (Preschool to Grade 12) and GED candidates (21 years old and younger) in need. A wardrobe includes 5 shirts, 4 pants/shorts/skirts, 1 dress (optional), 1 coat, 1 pair of shoes, and 5 pairs each of new socks and underwear.

Intake ProcedureObtain a referral letter and call the store to leave a voice message with name and phone number. Store will return the call to arrange an appointment.
Intake RequirementsA referral letter, printed on letterhead from a school, human service agency, shelter, counseling center, hospital or clinic, teacher, administrator, guidance counselor, psychologist, social worker, or church. Referral form available here: http://clothestokidsdenver.org/referral-process/.

Families may also use a copy of their child's free or reduced lunch letter as a referral.

Foster care families may use a copy of their child's foster care pay or remittance stub, intake packet letter/flyer or a letter from a caseworker on agency letterhead.

Families with students who meet the qualification guidelines must make an appointment and must provide appropriate documentation.

EligibilityMust be school age (Preschool - Grade 12; Ages 4-18) or a young adult earning a GED and in need of assistance, such as:
- On free or reduced school lunches
- Receiving services from a school, school district, human service agency, shelter, hospital, clinic or place of worship.
- In crisis (e.g., fire, flood, etc. to home, job loss, medical emergency, homelessness or displacement)
- In foster/kinship care (e.g., certified, non-certified and informal placements)
- A refugee and asylum seeker
