General Information
Description of ProgramA.L.E.R.T. (Awareness Leads to Educated and Responsible Thinking) gives victims of domestic violence and their children necessary safety information and support prior to asking that a restraining order be "lifted."
ObjectivesA.L.E.R.T. is a program that can be completed in a one day (6 hour) workshop scheduled weekly. The participation of kids experiencing dometic violence in the program is strongly encouraged. A completion certificate, given to adult participants, will verify completion. The participant will have this available to present to the referring agency.
