General Information
Description of ProgramAdolescent services: adolescents with substance abuse problems often have legal problems as well as family and emotional issues. Treatment goes beyond substance abuse and helps teens to come to terms with issues related to grief, abuse, and self-identity. Teens are introduced to healthy methods of dealing with problems without the use of substance or committing illegal acts. Youths are guided to capitalize on their strengths and abilities. Other adolescent programs available include underage drinking class (UAD) and anger management.
ObjectivesTreatment of adolescents dealing with substance abuse problems. In addition to individualized treatment, adolescents receive drug and alcohol education, life skill building, and gender specific group therapy.
