Serves as the Area Agency on Aging for Larimer County, using federal Older Americans Act funds in conjunction with state, county and grant funding, to develop and implement a comprehensive and coordinated system of services for seniors and adults with disabilities.
Serves individuals, family members, caregivers and professionals with information and assistance to understand and access programs and services, Home visits are available by appointment.
Services provided include:
- Options Counseling
-Assistance completing Long Term Care Medicaid and Medicare Savings Program applications
-Caregiver support services, classes, education, respite grants.
-In-Home Services Voucher Program for homemaker assistance
-Chore Voucher Program for home/yard work reimbursement for approved services.
-Long Term Care Ombudsman, advocacy and resident rights
-Education on senior related issues, programs and services
-Answers on Aging Resource Guide – comprehensive printed publication of programs and services in Larimer County.
