Description of Agency
Provides several different types of classes and programs in the area of substance or alcohol related problems such as:
- Minor in Possession Class:
8-hour class offered one weekend a month on Saturday and Sunday. You must attend four hours both Saturday and Sunday to complete class. Call for next available session.
- DUI Level I and II Education and Therapy:
State approved 2-Hour Classes for Level II Treatment.
- DUI Level I Education is offered one time a month on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Call for the next available session.
- DUI Level II Education:
Monday: 5pm, 5:30pm
Wednesday: 9:30am, 6:30pm
- DUI Level II Therapy:
Tuesday: 9:30am, 5pm, 5:30pm
Thursday: 4:30pm (Specifically for DUI offenders under the age of 21)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) 12-week program in 2-hour sessions:
Assists clients with recognizing and changing errors in thinking which lead to high risk behaviors. Offers education on stress management, toxic relationships, anxiety and depression, anger and addressing other impulsive and destructive behaviors.
- Relapse Prevention 12-Week Program in 1.5 hour sessions:
Provides information on the importance of making commitments, developing life skills as well as recognizing and managing cravings to reduce or eliminate the likelihood of a return to high risk using behavior. Sessions are focused on recognizing what initially lead to relapse in sobriety and developing a plan to mitigate this behavior in the future.
- Anger Management 12-week program in 1-2 hour sessions:
Monday, Wednesday: 5pm
Offers information specifically on recognizing angry thoughts and behaviors which can cause problems in our daily lives including landing us in legal trouble.
- Domestic Violence Classes:
Length of enrollment varies for each individual client, 1.5 hour sessions:
Thursday: 5:30pm (women)
Thursday: 7pm (men)
Offers psychotherapy centered specifically around Domestic Violence. Topics address individual needs of both perpetrators and victims of domestic abuse.
Offer evaluations for both substance abuse and mental health. Call to schedule an appointment.
To educate adolescents and adults to make wise, informed decisions on drugs, alcohol, and related issues in daily life. Provide responsive services to individuals whose condition permits treatment in a non-residential setting.
