Description of Agency
Provides services that empower and offer hope to survivors of domestic violence/sexual assault in Colorado who are deaf, hard of hearing, Deaf-blind or Children of Deaf Adults (CODAs). Services include:
- Victim Service Provider Training
- Developing a Safety Plan
- Youth Prevention Workshops
- Information and Resources
- Crisis Intervention
- Video Phone Hotline
- Support Groups
- Deaf Culture Training Workshops
- Community Education Workshops
To provide culturally accessible services that empower and offer hope to Deaf or hard of hearing individuals who experience abuse.
Founded in 1999 by 5 Deaf women from Colorado, and became a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the ability to provide advocacy services in 2000.
