Thrive is a faith-based initiative of Flatirons Community Church and is open to anyone, regardless of spiritual beliefs.
Thrive was started through a conversation with Sister Carmen Community Center. Thrive was interested in knowing what would help in supporting people towards self-sufficiency and to not need public or government assistance. Partners at Sister Carmen suggested that a long-term and steady job was the most helpful resource for individuals on public or government assistance. Thrive began to look into what would be the most beneficial avenue to helping people gain employment, and through partnership with Cincinnati Works and Advance Memphis, developed skills training and employment workshop services.
