Description of AgencyOffers four science-based programs in the following areas: Camp, Community, Educator, and School. Camp programs offer a range of summer camps for youth ages 5 - 17; Community programs include CATCH Afterschool and Summer Camp programs, retreats, STEM and astronomy programs, and Wilderness First Aid courses; School programs offer science education to K-12 students through informal investigations and research projects; Educator programs provide teachers with professional development opportunities.
MissionTo educate youth and adults to broaden perspectives and foster appreciation for engaged citizenship. This is accomplished through meaningful and collaborative learning experiences in a natural mountain environment that incorporate non-biased scientific inquiry, leadership development, civic engagement, and academic rigor.
