Description of Agency
The CU Denver Student and Community Counseling Center provides mental health counseling services to the CU Denver student body as well as the Denver Metro community.
To provide culturally competent mental health services focused on support, growth and solutions. To fulfill our mission we will deliver:
- Quality Counseling, Consultation, Testing, Outreach, and Preventative Mental Health Services to the UCD Campus Community
- A competency-based, intensively supervised training program to Counseling Practicum and internship students
- Affordable counseling services to children and families in the Denver public schools as well as to undeserved groups and individuals in the Denver urban community
- Services with sensitivity to diversity and inclusion of all clients regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic status and ability.
Call to schedule an intake appointment; during the intake appointment, patients will meet with a counselor to determine the nature of their difficulties and their treatment options.
