As the charitable arm of the Archdiocese of Denver, and inspired by God's love and compassion, Catholic Charities extends the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to the poor and those in need.
For over 75 years, Denver's Catholic Charities has delivered programs that are inclusive, proactive, and responsive; reflecting escalating community need for services and resources at a time of rising unemployment and slowed economy. Catholic Charities is one of Colorado's oldest and largest human services providers. In 2002, their 45 programs helped over 150,000 individuals across the northern half of the state from Kansas to Utah. This was made possible by a dedicated staff of 400 professionals and 12,000 volunteers.
