To meet the immediate needs of residents of Douglas and Elbert counties who are in financial distress and/or at risk of becoming homeless--to help them work through troublesome times with dignity.
Founded in 1984, the Task Force originally served Castle Rock residents only. Services have expanded to include all residents of Douglas and Elbert Counties.
Douglas, Elbert counties
Walk in during client hours. For food assistance, clients need to arrive by 11 a.m., when the last food order is taken. For utility assistance, clients need to arrive by 9 a.m. Only 20 clients will be served a day.
Helpful to bring:
- Photo ID
- Proof of residency, if possible (current bill)
- Social Security numbers for everyone in household, if possible
- Total household income
