Manages several grant-funded programs for housing, community development, neighborhood revitalization, and economic development, primarily for low- and moderate-income residents of Adams County. Includes grants for minor home repairs.
Also responsible for code compliance in Adams County, including building code enforcement and graffiti removal.
The primary intent of the Community & Neighborhood Resources Division is to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Adams County. Effective community development results in mutual benefit and shared responsibility among community members. It recognizes the connection between social, cultural, environmental and economic matters, the diversity of interests within a community, and the relationships for capacity building.
