Description of AgencyProvides an opportunity for individuals seeking community service hours, or veterans and their families who are recovering physically and mentally, or the community at-large to become educated about horses. The goal is to bring horses back to good health and support their adoption.
MissionThe Horse Protection League is dedicated to the welfare of equines, and to empowering people and horses to help each other.
HistoryFormed in 1994, The Horse Protection League is situated on Churches Ranch, an original homestead listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We play an important role in maintaining the ranch as a working farm complex.
