Provides an opportunity for students of all ages to use voice, piano, percussion, guitar, art, and drama studios.
Offers beginning, intermediate & advanced piano instruction with an emphasis on note-reading & rhythm in the beginning stages as foundational to successful piano playing. Piano instructors use traditional piano methods & advance toward classical piano instruction. Music theory is emphasized & scales, technique & chords are taught to advancing students. The School enrolls both new & transfer students, 2nd grade (age 8) & older, including adults.
Offers opportunities to explore theatre, drama, and speech for youth and adults. Beginning Actors will learn the basics of acting and memorize and perform a monologue to culminate the year of study.
The School for the Performing Arts (SPA) at the Historic Lincoln School is a milestone endeavor for North Eastern Colorado. The first not-for-profit school of its kind in the area, The SPA has created a venue for students of all ages to partake in the performing arts. A budding institution, The SPA in its inaugural year already has four areas of instruction including voice, piano, guitar and dance.
