The organization began as a volunteer-run lip-reading club, and went on to offer support groups, hearing screenings in schools, and speech therapy. In 1970, they pioneered a nationwide hearing conservation program for businesses to generate funds and help those who could not pay for services. Today, Marion Downs Center is proud to continue providing quality hearing and speech services in the Denver Metro area.
